Going with the flow - Dealing with emergent language
Emergent language, that is the language that comes up over the course of a lesson, can be difficult to deal with. Yet this is the language that interests our students the most. In this talk we will look at how we can exploit this language in class and which language items we should focus on when they arise.
Alex Webb is a teacher, teacher trainer and CELTA trainer at London School of Languages in San Sebastian He started teaching in 2008 and completed the DELTA in 2017. Before moving to San Sebastian, he taught in Germany, France and the UK. At London School of Languages, he teaches young learners of all ages and levels and adult learners.
