Navigating Pedagogical Decisions in our Diverse Classrooms
In this workshop I would like to share my experience navigating the difficult decisions faced by primary school English teachers as we attempt to reach large groups of diverse students, while at the same time maintaining high standards. We will discuss practical activities which take into account student needs and include collaboration and multi-sensory learning.
Julie Eckroth holds a Master’s Degree in Second Languages and Cultures Education from the University of Minnesota. She has taught students of all ages for more than 30 years. For the past 20 years she has worked as an English teacher in public schools in the Madrid area, specializing in young learners.
