Thinking Critically

In this talk, teachers will consider what it means to think critically and how this relates to our students in the classroom. We will also consider thinking skills and analyse the types of skill students have to implement when completing different coursebook activities. Finally, we will look at ten easy-to-integrate activities to increase student’s critical thinking at any level.

Karen McGhie is Head of Teacher Training and Development and has a degree in French with TESOL from the University of Exeter. She’s taught English since 2014 and completed the Trinity DipTESOL in 2016. Before coming to live in San Sebastián, she lived and worked in Logroño and her hometown of London. She is also a CELTA tutor and presenter.
