Personalisation in the language classroom

Humans are naturally very social beings and spend a large proportion of their waking hours communicating with others. Research has shown that during conversations we spend around 60% of the time talking about ourselves, and this increases to 80% when we look at social media. So, what is the science behind why we spend so much time talking about ourselves, and how can we personalize our lessons more? This workshop will look at how we can personalize our lessons to increase student engagement.
