Oral Feedback Loop
The presenter will display effective self evaluation strategies in which EFL learners will judge their oral performance through listening to themselves critically. As a truly self feedback loop, learners’ output will be used as input for self correction. She will also display relevant tools such as creating silent gapped audios using ICT tools, so that learners compare and contrast their own oral production with an original audio
Stella Palavecino, Master inTEFL, is a graduate teacher and material designer based in Argentina. She holds a postgraduate degree in Education, ICT, Phonology and Pedagogy.
She lectures in Phonetics I&II & Diction at Teacher and Translation Programmes. She has written articles, delivered webinars and presentations on the field of phonology. She is the Pronsig scholarship winner for the IATEFL 2021 conference.
